The Electromechanical strip bending machine XKM 2000/2A is provided for strip bending in plumber and maintenance workshops. The machine can be used in piece production and in small-lot production. The rugged cast-iron construction guarantees high bending precision along the whole strip length. The machine is driven by asynchronous motors 2x230V by means of a frequency converter. The frequency converter provides protection against overloading and allows to select arbitrary the bending speed. The visual display unit has four lines for machine communication through MOD BUS. This connection enables simple communication with electric control unit during the programming and operation. The control panel is well arranged and complies fully with workshop conditions. The memory capacity allows saving of 10 programs each in 10 various bending angles. The machine can be operated in manual mode (piece production), semiautomatic or automatic mode (serial production). The lateral recess in the upper section allows the bending of trimmed sheet. Adjustment of bending jaw and the lower section is performed with check screws. The fixation way of working strips allows quick replacement. With the graduated rule as accessory can be the machine used for production of boxes and similar products.
